Wiregrass Gives was honored to take part in the Tri-County Community Advocacy Day, a powerful and inspiring event that brought together individuals, families, and organizations across our region for a day of empowerment, connection, and resources.
With the theme “Your Community, Your Resources: Let’s Connect!”, this event provided a welcoming space for returning citizens, families in transition, and all community members to gain access to vital services and programs that support reentry, wellness, housing, safety, and opportunity.
From informational booths to free resources, door prizes, and heartfelt conversations, the Dothan Civic Center was filled with purpose and unity. This is the kind of community engagement that reminds us of the power of partnerships and local leadership in creating real change.

Wiregrass Honor Flight – A Day to Remember
Words can’t truly describe what it meant to be part of the Wiregrass Honor Flight.
From the moment we arrived, the outpouring of love, honor, and respect shown to our Veterans was overwhelming—in the best way possible. ❤️🤍💙
Every handshake, every “thank you,” every person who lined up just to greet a Veteran reminded us of the deep gratitude our community holds for those who served. The smiles, the tears, the spontaneous cheers… even the scuffs from the guards—each moment was a powerful tribute.
It was absolutely amazing to witness and be part of.
Wiregrass Gives was honored to stand among heroes and help celebrate them in a way they so deeply deserve.
